I mean each has their disadvantage and advantages. So depends on what they have experienced and enjoy most. Even some would go far as wanting VR or touch screen or pad. Each individual finds comfort in some device used. Like some of the starwars, or even not related to flight but maneuverability like Mechwarrior. That is like saying, "Why do you use a flight slick in a flight simulator" Although that one makes more sense, but there are those that will use a keyboard over a joystick for games that have flight oriented play. So like the one above me says it is personal preference in most likely what they prefer using. Not everybody is comfortable with mouse & keyboard.
